At Peak Performance, our Exercise Physiologists, Strength & Conditioning Specialists will design an individual routine based upon our initial assessment and the physiological demands of your sport.
Our goal is to prepare athletes for the upcoming season and the seasons beyond. Young athletes begin by learning how to train. Older, more experienced athletes learn to train like an elite athlete.
The workout consists of strength training and conditioning with a strong focus on proper technique. With one-on-one training, you as an athlete will progress to achieve the next tier of athletic performance.
Peak Fitness Alumnae Nick Hernandez and Abe Cordero have been making a huge impact this Football season for Valley Stream South High School. In a week one win over Mineola, Hernandez rushed for 181 yards and two touchdowns and caught two passes for 25 yards and a touchdown. In week two, he continued his strong start to the season with 120 yards rushing on only 9 carries and added two more touchdowns to his season total. He also had an interception of defense and earned himself Newsday’s Gridiron Great award for the second week in a row. Abe Cordero added to the defensive effort week two, recording 15 tackles and 3 sacks, including one as time expired to seal the win.
The hard work they put in during offseason training appears to be paying off with their outstanding efforts on the field. Keep up the good work!
